in love with lonny
I heard about Lonny a few months ago and have been eagerly awaiting it’s arrival since.
It’s an online magazine put together by former market editor of domino magazine, Michelle Adams (who also has a beautiful eco-friendly textile line) and photographer Patrick Cline. Lovely ex domino staffer Kate Townsend Simpson graces the cover of the first issue that promises 174 pages of decorating ideas.
You “flip” through the website as if it’s a real mag (though there are mixed reviews about that).
Eddie Ross, former EIC Deborah Needleman, and Rita Konig all contribute. And if you’re wondering where they came up with the name, it’s a combo of London and NY.
Honestly, I really like it though am a little annoyed at the whole “getting around” aspect of it. The scrolling and zooming aren’t the most effecient. And it’s eerily reminiscent of domino. As much as I loved domino, I can’t help but think that they should have been a tad bit more original.
What do you think of it? Does it fill the shelter mag void for you?
